Everything Changes

Loss, a sad unfortunate part of life

Fighting so hard to gain something

Only to lose it later

Wanting to keep something forever

Clinging onto it

Fighting to keep it

Trying to hold on to it

But nothing lasts forever

Not in this life anyway

Everything changes

Sometimes change is good

Like quiet, peace, a relief from pain

Sometimes it’s bad like the loss of life

Wonderful or terrible

Everything changes eventually
